Kids’ items wanted for school benefit

PROPHETSTOWN – Items are being accepted for the upcoming Mom2Mom Market from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 28 at Prophetstown Elementary School, 301 W. Third St.

Early bird shopping is available for $2 from 7 to 8 a.m., and $1 thereafter. The event is open to all wanting to sell unwanted baby or children’s items, such as clothing up to size 14, toys, and gear. All rented table proceeds will go to the seller. The cost is $25 for an 11.5 foot table, with bench and garment rack space.

Strollers, high chairs, outdoor play sets and similar items can be sold in the big-ticket item area with no table rental required; 10 percent of those proceeds will go back to the school. Vendor tables are available for $20.

To reserve a table, mail forms and checks by April 15, payable to Prophetstown Elementary School, Attn: Mom2Mom, 301 W. Third St., Prophetstown, IL 61277.

For those wanting to donate, but not rent a table, children’s items will be accepted to be sold at the PES table, with all proceeds going to the school.
