Blessing of the animals Saturday in Dixon

DIXON – In belated observance of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Luke Episcopal Church at 221 W. Third St. will have a blessing of the animals at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Peoria Avenue entrance.

Animals must be leashed and well-behaved. Drive-up blessings and certificates of blessing “in absentia” for animals that cannot travel will be available.
