Festival held in Oregon
A little rain did not dampen the fun Saturday as people gathered Saturday on North Second Street to rock out in Oregon. Rockin’ River Fest included a beer garden, bags tourney, food, games and live entertainment. A tug across the Rock River also was held as part of the 1-day festival. Teams of up to 15 people weighing no more than 3,500 pounds gathered on either side of the river to pull as hard as they could to win the event. In the end team Tipsy Hog held strong for the victory. Over in the Kid Zone visitors to the festival were pulling themselves off an inflatable wall after getting stuck with velcro.
