Drenched: Splash pad cools kids off
With the mercury rising and temperatures expected to reach the 90s by the weekend, the splash pad at Vaile Park in Dixon could be a popular place for kids to cool off. Brayden Ward, 9, thought Wednesday morning was the perfect time to get soaked while running through the splash pad. The high Wednesday only was in the mid 80s but the humidity was high. Some kids decided a day under an umbrella was a great way to avoid the sun.
