LOST LAKE – Ralph Richard Petersen, 76, of Lost Lake, Dixon, IL., died suddenly at home, on October 17, 2019.

Ralph was born on December 30, 1942, in Chicago, to George and Bernice Petersen. He was an electrician for 40 years and belonged to the IBEW 701 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth and four children, Brian of Dixon, Gary (Dawn) of Dixon, Debbie (Tom) Bergschicker of Memphis, TN, and Dawn (Ken) Kaiser of Grand Rapids, M.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Kathy Hagen of Seattle, WA, and many nieces and nephews.

Ralph couldn’t leave a room without talking to everyone there. He always had a story to tell and loved to make people laugh. He made friends with everyone he met. He loved going on cruises with Ruth and loved riding his Harley. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be at the Lost Lake Recreation Center, on December 7, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. All are welcome.
