Electrifying parade in Lanark
Lanark Transformers Team’s annual Jingle Fest began Friday with a lighted tractor parade. Following the parade the city’s Christmas tree was lit while carolers sang. The festive fun continues Saturday. A vendor fair featuring gifts and decor will be open from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Santa’s workshop runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lanark Heritage Center at 124 E. Carroll St., where kids can have fun with make-and-take craft projects enjoy treats and have their picture taken with Santa, who will stop by for a visit from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The Lanark library will host a holiday swap and share tables from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find CelebrateLanark on Facebook for more information.
