What’s the magic word in Oregon? Fun!
Someone should have invited Mother Nature to Autumn on Parade so she could be reminded that there should be more leaves, and less rain, falling at this time of year. Fortunately, the rain that’s been dropping in and out of the area for the past few days stayed cloud-bound long enough for folks to enjoy the 48th annual citywide celebration in Oregon during a weekend that felt more like cool spring days than crisp fall weather. The theme of this year’s event was “It’s magical,” and sure enough, it was. Entertainers wandered around the Courthouse Square, delighting the crowd with comedy, juggling, balancing shows and bubble fun. There was a farmers market and craft fair, a car and tractor show, and plenty of other family fun.
