The cast and crew at Dixon Stage Left hope audiences head for the Hill when their new comedy production takes the stage. "Music from Down the Hill” runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and again Oct. 18-20, at the theater, 306 W. First St. The play, set in a psychiatric clinic, is about Claire (Samantha Butts of Rock Falls), a schizophrenic and compulsive liar obsessed with Bruce Springsteen, and Margot (Suzie Branch, also of Rock Falls), an older hysteric who loves rock 'n' roll. The two bond and help each other find health and healing through their shared passion. Tickets – $20 for adults, $5 for high school and college students, and $15 each for groups of six or more – are available at dixonstageleft.org or by calling 312-420-8715. Find the theater on Facebook or go to the website for more information.
