Teams put their brains to the test during annual Stupor Bowl
Do you know what gang Danny was part of in “Grease” or how wide Lee County is in miles? Well, teams of trivia buffs knew these answers and more during Saturday’s annual Dixon Public School’s Stupor Bowl. For those that might not know the answers, they are T-Birds and approximately 36 miles if a Google search is accurate. The trivia event has been held annually since 1997 and is a fundraiser for the Dixon Public Schools Foundation. Teams throughout the first four rounds simultaneously dug through the depths of their brains – no smart phones allowed – to write down the answers to questions about movies, sports, current events, history, music, geography, and of course local Dixon and Lee County trivia. After the first four rounds the top 4 teams advanced to a single-elimination play-off on the stage. Visit dps170.org/Stupor for more information.
