Artists and car enthusiasts brought the people to downtown Dixon Thursday for Petunia Fest. First Street was lined with artists sitting on the pavement painting squares during Brush and Bloom. The annual event allows artists – young and old – to be as creative as they want while keeping within the boundary of a square. Down the road, the Peoria Avenue bridge was filled with cars, motorcycles and event a boat being displayed during the annual Petunia Fest Car Show. The annual festival continues today through Sunday.
