DIXON – Lee County’s website has a new look geared toward easier access and navigation.
Improvements to the redesigned website at leecountyil.com that went live this week include responsive design and easier navigation on any device, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, website protection and ability for departments to maintain their own information.
People can subscribe and get an email or text when calendar events are added, and the county will also be able to post alerts for road closures or weather information.
Forms will also be available for job postings and bid information, and there’s better access to records, agendas, and reports.
Departments are working to update information, so there may be some tweaks that are needed.
